while micro-animations like this are really neat . there are products at an incomprehensible level of scale (YT has 2.7 billion monthly active users). where the main objective is:. "It needs to work well and fast". at that scale, speed and availability is the best design detail.

hot take. so many startup designers act like big company designers. building large design systems, writing loads of documentation, etc. it’s good to lay foundations but your goal is finding pmf and increasing revenue. embrace scrappiness, move fast and ship product.
