@Ojha_kalpataru @narendramodi @EmmanuelMacron I truly loved this visit from Mr. Modi in France and Marseille. Mr. Macron seems to have been an excellent host, and the French people as well. Heqrtfelt gratitude to Mr. Modi and the Indian people.

@andreasklinger Yeah, he would be excellent as next Europe president. We need to have some federal functions like in the US: military, border control, monetary, etc..

@p_ferragu Definitely. Will be shocked if DOGE doesn't become standard across the world in the next 5-10 years

I also thought his argument was bogus. But, trying to understand his underlying reasoning, did he mean that: - a larger battery means more mass, and therefore the car needs to have more structure and cost more in raw material and time on the line to make that much more structure? - making twice as many battery packs for the same material input means making twice as many cars on the same line, meaning you better amortie capex, lowering unit cost? - margin on these two costs to contribute to SG&A, taxes and shareholder return requirements If you add those factors, the cost increase isn't (inversely) linear with battery capacity reduction. That being said, I doubt the extra cost for doubling the pack size would exceed $1-2k. It's 2k (double the range) + 1-2k (additional costs detailed above) Most people will still choose that.

@dpoddolphinpro Starship V5 will be Starcruiser (always in space, same entertainment and comfort as a cruise ship at sea). Uses Starship to take people/cargo from surface to Starcruiser. At some point it'll be equipped with nuclear propulsion to make the trip in 1-2 months.
