Waivers don’t mean anything, if communication to all levels are not done properly, if staff aren’t in place to answer question and provide services, if software are frozen, if funding can’t come because the mean to transfer the money has been dismantled.

This is so sad. Please make sure your kids are up to date with all their childhood vaccines.
A child in Washington State who had received some but not all the recommended #pertussis vaccinations has died from pertussis. It is the state's first pertussis death since 2011.

This cannot happen. The human cost to this will be way way way too high.
Globally, there are 1.3 million new HIV infections yearly. @UNAIDS says 3100 African females aged 15-24 contract HIV weekly. There are serious fears that Africa may not control HIV/AIDS after @PEPFAR & USAID’s closures. My piece for @TRTWorld, 🎥: @FredDarius2 & @BardeyGoddie

It is not just SWOP in Kenya; the freeze of PEPFAR and dismantling of USAID is impacting the most vulnerable in the world. The impact this could have is enormous. I am vocal about SWOP because this is the community I am working with, but it is bigger than that

@rosie744 c'est humainement pas éthique d'arrêter. C'est pas juste un programme de recherche à risque, c'est des milliers de vies. On doit trouver une solution . On doit garder l'espoir qu'ils vont voir l'importance du programme. Ou qu'on trouvera les fonds pour continuer
