Thousands of lines of dialogue, and tens of thousands of words of prose, often written in a period of weeks or—if you’re lucky—months. The deadlines are aggressive. The margins of error are unforgiving. Sometimes you get it right, sometimes you don’t. I love it.
For Destiny and other live service games it can often feel like you’re designing on a bullet train. Trying to make the best stuff possible and innovate your craft, all while trying to deliver something in time for the folks that use your world as their third place.

Others have already covered why this doesn’t work from a technical standpoint. Narratively? The moment you start transferring assets between IPs, worldbuilding ceases to matter. Your universe loses what makes it unique. No sense of time or place. All cohesion is lost.
