Great job being transparent when something unfortunate happens. We need more of this in horse racing.
I want to update the status of K Crown, vanned off after the second. He’s comfortable back at the barn, Xrays showed an injury to his left knee, no surgery required. We will take good care of him and find him a good home for his retirement when he’s ready.

@SwiftHitter There are lots and of things horse racing could learn from the NFL. The NFL was in the brink with concussions and aged infrastructure. Now look at it. What a great event put on by the NFL.

I agree that the industry working together is the best thing possible. The opportunity in the industry right now has tremendous upside. Some people that are trying to drive people out know this too. When one door closes, another one is open. It may be time for some people to move on. When you prune a tree it grows stronger. In the short term it may not provide as much fruit or shade. But the short term sacrifice will help it reap more fruit and provide shade for a long time. The sport needs to think long term and not make short term decisions based on who beats the loudest drum. Instead of bashing Kentucky horse racing, it needs to be held up as an example for other states. There is an example, follow it.
