Looking for the low hanging fruit in the puzzle of all puzzles. Trade Ideas/Opinions should not be blindly followed, no buy/sell solicitations here. sarcastic.
1 minute 40 secs of absolute gold
The principles you can take from this are definitely in my opinion some of the keys to exponential growth if you have an edge in markets.
So I speak with a lot of traders daily and a lot are not happy with where they are at a pretty young age. Let me share perspective
1a
James Simmons didn’t start trading till 40s
Dan Loeb began fund age 33
Cohen 32
Dalio blew up when he was 32 had to restart.
The truth of a real trader:
Several times of depressing periods
The feeling to quit
The saying of Fuck This I don’t need this
The feeling that you are an idiot.
And the bigger truth: YOU NEED POSITIVE PEOPLE AROUND YOU TO PICK YOU UP
DONT DO IT ALONE
Any time a trader says
“Done for the day”- that’s a lie
“I don’t overtrade” also a lie
“I’m not sizing anymore” HUGE LIE BULLSHIT 😭😭
“Taking tmrw off” - lie
“I’ll just see what happens” a lie
Pretty much a bunch of liars out there 😂😂😂😂😂
Myself included
Trading is so easy. It is so easy that some of the smartest funds in the world spend 1 billion on tech supercomputers per year, and they still lose money. 😂
Probably one of the most exciting things as a trader/ investor is that there is no cap, unlimited potential
There’s a million ways to make it
And a million ways to fuck yourself up
You will have to go through the trenches
No secret
No shortcut
Pain
Growth 🥂
Successes
It’s the quiet ones that are crushing it that I admire. They have zero reason to show what they have got in the material world. They are so comfortable with who they are they don’t give a shit about opinions of others in a social media driven environment.
If you don’t win during a trading day, find a win somewhere else, get in the gym, turn off phone and do an hour of focused work on scans, have a healthier dinner, the ripple effect of reinforced small wins is the way to maintain positive momentum. Forward.
It’s amazing everyday friends just ask how to make money fast.
What’s the secret
What’s the secret
What’s the secret
The secret is that maybe just maybe after 1000s of hours of hard work, you are going to look like you made a quantum leap.
There is no secret, no shortcut
IMO
Unfortunately you have to trade when your edge is not there and be frustrated, to learn when to not trade. No substitute. There’s no book or mentor or service or study that can change that for you. The pain of mistakes has to be so great that growth is non- negotiable
If ya made $$ this week great if you lost figure out why.
Protect capital at all costs Bc your trade of the year is always around the corner many times when you don’t expect it.
So stay in the game. Keep grinding it out.
I took SO MUCH for Granted:
Hanging with friends
Going out to dinner
Vacations- going anywhere on a dime notice
Dating
Being able to see family whenever
Hugging my my friends/family
Health
COVID-19 was a giant wake up call for me.
^Those are all massive luxuries.
Going out by yourself is so underrated, I’ve been doing it for years. Just to clear head and think. Also a really great way to get on the inside with resturaunt managers and bartenders. You leave a fat tip, and next time you are setup.
Pro tip.
Man this is absolutely terrible news
@Mile_HighTrades
, you had a huge heart, and you were only a kid, this is really sad, remember us trading together and having some deep conversations. Gone too young.
Hey Kris
@Qullamaggie
if you don’t show up on twitch in the next 2 months I’m throwing up the pic of you in the mall cop outfit and squirrel 🐿 hat on every single corner of Sweden 🇸🇪 with “MISSING” written in bright red. Have a good day 🤣
People massively underutilize weekends. Vast amounts of time to develop craft while the majority sleeps and does nothing. Drinks or no drinks, the weekend work is always there. Even if it’s 1-2 hours of anything, over year, that turns into a massive skill or edge.
First thing I would tell someone to do as a newer trader.
Go look up the best 30 mid/ large cap stocks this year, go look at the news from the beginning of the moves to now
Do this for the past 20 years
Then go to small caps, do the same thing. Annotate the cycles
Without Atomic Habits:
I wouldn’t :
Journal Daily( and reread weekly)
Workout Daily
Catch up with great friends bi-weekly
Upped my reading to 2-4books a month
Treat myself better when referring to self-talk
Cut out as much noise as possible to increase focus
Ty
@JamesClear
Enjoy this life because it goes by in an instant. I’m 31 and it’s only gotten much faster. Don’t stress the little things, don’t waste time talking about bullshit. Goodnight all.
It’s supposed to be hard. If it was easy, don’t you think everyone would just do it and be at the top of the world? You’re fighting for the ability to be your own boss on your own time anywhere you please. The ability to make a years wages in a day. This is our arena.

I did a write up on
@TheOneLanceB
part 2 of
@InvestorsLive
, of key points and my takeaways, and some applications to my own methods. I went to minute 50 and didn't include the user questions. Hope you find this helpful.
9/10 non trader friends of mine are now trading.
Please please please please. Protect capital and don’t get in this game to make a quick buck. All of my trader friends will take ur money. Literally.
If I could go back,
I'd tell myself to find the setups and price action I suck at first and eliminate it. Took me years to develop the awareness to find out what wasn't working. You'd be surprised about just how fast removing self-destructing behavior helps.
Save millions.
A Friday:
-Work/ trade all day - nice end of day finish tho needed to capture more
-1 hour reading ( timer set)
- one cardio session workout
- 1 lifting session (separate)
- 1 hour reading
- a 20 min walk to clear my head
- decline invitation to go out
Friday
Nothing in process yet.
But would you guys be interested in seeing me run a bootcamp where i go through processes and strategies I look to trade and WHY i trade them and avoid the things i do not perform in. ??? Thanks any feedback is cool.
Step One Know your shit.
Step two never follow Elon Musk, Dave Portnoy, or Chamath into trades.
I’m giving you the keys to the kingdom here.

@Qullamaggie
Probably one of the better lessons i have taken from
@Qullamaggie
is that sitting around watching ticks works against you in full.
If a trade is working let it work, the risk should be set, so there is no reason for you to be watching tick by tick bid/ask all day long ever.
Turned 32 this week
Just want to say that I’m grateful for my life, my family, All friends, and having a job that doesn’t feel like work that i absolutely love.
May the days get better, the struggles be embraced, and the experiences be enjoyed.
To this life 🍻

@Qullamaggie
First outside day here lets see what develops, this is a very useful tool he encouraged streamers to use indicator is CHILLAX- under indicators tab within Trading View.
Going into protected mode on tweets for now, random accounts have become increasingly annoying.
To be honest I just want value if I'm going to be here at all, and I don't need some lil keyboard warrior bitch annoying me when I pull up my feed.
Thanks for not being annoying.
R.I.P grandma
Nothing but a loving caring person to me, always a light in my life. You will be me missed tremendously. Always supported whatever I wanted to do ❤️
Trading seems like the easiest thing in the world when the market is closed and charts are looked at, and then once that bell rings, 99% of people lose control of their emotional equilibrium, and in that moment, it becomes the hardest thing to do.
Positions sizing:
Puts you in a position to win and to hold a winner
Eliminates fear
Drains out emotion
Allows you to scale your trading vs focusing on the dollar
Cuts through noise
Allows you to detach from the tick by tick of the trade
Today was a day. Was at pool with group of people and this older guy claiming to be a “sugar daddy” somehow joined the group said he had yacht etc. We got to talking about equities, I asked him who his broker was:::::
“I trade options on RobinHood”
💀 💀💀💀🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
God what a trash day for me. Just chop city and didn’t stop trading.
November still a sick sick month.
But I mean fuck today.
No sugar coating losses 1000% my fault everytime for ever.
Market Manipulated? Duh what about it ? stfu and stop complaining.
Chin the fk up
Sniper Traders:
Only take a+ setups
When headshot potential isn’t there, it’s an avoid
Are not distracted by others
Are not distracted by the hot stock of day
Only interested in their own mission.
BE A SNIPER!
Big takeaway from
@Qullamaggie
today on stream. All those alert bells going off, hasn’t really happened this year in his stream. It happened on my tc2000 as well, many bullish cross ups to signal a sign of momentum shift. Example of situational awareness you can implement.
Just going to drop this.
If you are able to squeeze money out of market even if it’s 75/200 bucks a day. That’s fantastic and you must realize and be grateful for the position you are in. People are suffering out there.
This is a positive post to just maybe open your eyes...
When you don’t want to workout , you workout.
When you get absolutely shredded in the markets and the last thing you want to do is look at what you did and review it, you gotta do it.
Each instance is a vote for a non-quitting mentality forged from fortitude.
Perception is everything
One trader can take a big drawdown as say I can’t believe this maybe I’m not meant for this, it’s too painful, maybe I should quit
Another trader can take the loss and think wow I just learned exactly what not to do so I can level up, I’m excited
A little thankfulness before Thanksgiving.
I have peace of mind a lot of the time - that’s priceless
I love my family
Love my friends
I love what I do
I’m thankful to always be interested in learning
I don’t have nearly all the answers yet, and I never will
Thankful
After reading the Complete Turtle Trader a couple of times, a point stuck out to me. In one of the groups systems they only took a monthly breakout if the prior monthly breakout had failed. The 2nd, 3rd , 5th time something reaffirms a key price point, the more powerful a surge
6 months into trading-- you don't know shit
1 year in-------you still dont know shit
2 years in----you may know a microcosm of a niche
Patience is required for entry, Discipline is a necessity.
I refuse to accept not meeting
@Qullamaggie
in Vegas therefore I will go to Stockholm and see if you want to do beers/ whiskey whatever you drink and if not , I get a trip to Sweden.
If this sounds desperate we’ll it’s because it is 😂😂😂😂.
Trading is not the hardest part of trading.
Mastering yourself is the hardest part of trading.
Before you can master how the tape ticks you must be able to master the way you tick. Else be emotionally manipulated by the market itself.
whenever I ask a trader friend how he is doing( I have no girlfriend traders)
The answer is usually a screenshot of p&l, executions or accounts AUM
This is never what I am asking, what I am asking is , how is your life?
Not how is your trading.
I hope you are happy.
The goal in my life in terms of network is to be around people that are trying to improve and learn. I don’t care how much $ they have. These people are naturally positively charged with healthy optimism.
Who wants to be around people that complain all the time?
Didn't have a good trading day?
- Get a good workout in
-Go for a walk
-Reconnect with a friend
- Call a family member you haven't spoken to in awhile
- Set intentions for the following day
Keep finding wins.
The biggest mistake I have made as a trader is thinking the market HAS TO DO SOMETHING I WANT IT DO.
It doesn’t have to give me a damn thing.
100% accountability all the time, forever
I really enjoy seeing so many mentions of
@Qullamaggie
on here, just a humble trader who worked his ass off for super performance, a rare breed that I was looking forward to meeting in Las Vegas, and then the ban ruined everything!
There’s no secret sauce
There’s no “work one hour a day and make $4725”
No quick fix
1k/4K a day/252 days a year you can forget that shit too. There are giant losses and wins in between.
Truth is there are thousands of hours of trial and error to have a chance.
Bugs me when people say oh “I’m in interested in markets, I am interested in learning how to code, interested in learning a new language”
If they were actually interested they would be deep in the subject matter already.
Stop bullshitting.
Sincerely believe that if newer guys learned how to trade one stock one ticker like a $NVDA or $TSLA or even financials like $GS over and over again. It would be more effective than trading the flavor of the day every day. Much more.
If you can find beauty in patterns and the process of them repeating, you will have a huge chance of success in markets. Swing/ day trades doesn't matter.
Patterns repeat in markets as they repeat in the universe.
Find beauty in patterns.
Watching
@Qullamaggie
Friday stream and he’s short $DWAC
And the line that comes out next while it’s halted is
“I need to go bathroom”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
☠️ ☠️☠️☠️. Timestamp 55min in LOL.
One thing that I wish I asked myself when I first started trading
“Are you trading to fuck yourself up or are you trading in line with the goals you have and where you want to be in this game”
Each morning
Focus on Risk.
A routine to reduce emotions pre market:
Plan: r/r set, accepted, sector situational awareness
Effort/ execution/ precision: price entry, confirmation, target?
Diagnostic: did you follow plan? Yes or no
Solutions: fix the errors, fix the emotional drip into the trade
I'm telling you if you tune into
@Qullamaggie
, if you can adopt a piece of his system even if it's just one setup. He will make your life of trading less stressful, not easier, trading is difficult no matter what, but he can help you take a piece of pressure off your back.
People will blame legit every single thing other than themselves for losing in a trade.
Its the brokers fault
Its the short sellers they hate me and are attacking me
Its Melvin Capital they hate meeee
Etrade ruinnned my year.
No No No. It's always your fault. Rule
#45667
Jesse Livermore arguably one of the most talented traders to ever live
Probably also has the best discretionary based rule system I’ve ever seen.
At some point shattered his rules and went against himself.
We are all just one time lapse of discipline away from humility.
Guard
Steve Cohen Interview with my comments and what I believed to be important. I really think this interview is beyond valuable, I don't say that a lot. If you really dive deep into the questions, if you really analyze what he is saying, there are huge messages there. Enjoy
If you read The Complete Turtle traders you will find that
@Qullamaggie
deploys extremely similar principles/ setups as Richard Dennis and Eckhart did while teaching their disciples to trade. Well over half of them turned out mega success traders. Some of them manage billions.
Trading is 10x more about self-mastery then it is about that one strategy, indicator, setup, or stock that you think is going to take you to endgame.
Focus on your day to day decisions, grab what you need from the feedback and build.
The failure of self analysis is fatal.
Been under the weather all weekend
Key takeaways from Darvas:
Kill noise
Respect the pattern
Losers shouldn’t bother you as risk is planned
Winners shouldn’t be celebrated like some football touchdown
Stick to system and don’t waiver
Dont follow stock tips
Always adapt
The complaints about price action this week are hilarious , I’m sorry the market isn’t here to make it easy for you, I’m really so sorry, build more tools and STFU.
