@mcsmartypants I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know anyone who has a bad thing to say about Senator Shugart, and that's a rare thing in life. Rarer still in politics.

@namshine I'm so sorry to hear this. I ended up in the ER, too, needing multiple units of blood and iron. Took two years from ER visit to surgery (COVID didn't help). I don't buy into the "everything is broken" world view, but I'm 100% there when it comes to healthcare in this province. 😡

I’d make a joke about how the fact that the mayor doesn’t come out of City Hall to say hi to me every time I bike past must mean we have no mayor, but there is a much bigger and more consequential point to be made here, and it is this: data is plural.
New data shows that very few cyclists and pedestrians are using Queen Elizabeth Driveway when it's closed to cars. Watch this video as a great example. When I recorded it yesterday afternoon, not a single pedestrian or cyclist passed me for the entire two and a half minutes. Lorsque je l'ai enregistrée hier après-midi, pas un seul piéton ou cycliste ne m'a dépassé pendant les deux minutes et demie.
