Knew someone (now deceased) who was like this. It was pretty amazing.
He had a ring of keys and a telephone test thing on his belt. He’d walk into any company say he was there to fix the phone system (something was always broken) and they’d let him in.

Well everybody makes mistakes. But the biggest one here is that they didn’t test their answer by plugging the answer into the original equation to see if it’s correct.
Anything not tested doesn’t work. Always.

Raising them in Northern California too because why not? We drilled a well so have our own water supply but the water district charges us even if using zero water with huge penalty if one cancels their account. As per usual it’s GOOD to be King.
