Enslaved African peoples were chosen for skills that they ALREADY possessed. Before the Atlantic Slave Trade, they had already established cultural centers like Timbuktu, mastered iron works and cultivated numerous crops. Slavery was NOT a benefit but a disruption!#TruthBeTold
