@FullingSteve I will say that if you have LOTS of water supply and can spoon feed mobile nutrients you can make a good crop but this type of ground people typically don’t even consider growing corn

@FullingSteve A very small % of fields here are irrigated. Our field size is small and irregular. Average field size is probably 20 acres +/-

@xyzoldman Some nutrients do. Usually on our soils you’ll have an accumulation of nutrients right above the clay layer.

@clintwfischer Not suggesting he should do this but for me this was the path of least resistance to make it back home to the farm. It’s not been easy but I love what I do. To me the exercise is: What can I do to bring value to others? What is my differentiator?

@joshwgoodson Agree w/ your eval. Area of concern: The calling card of the DD era has been doing more with less. Player development has been our calling card. In the portal era it’s going to be more challenging to build program using continuity. Are we capable of a philosophy shift?

@FarmersEdgeAC @clintwfischer I’m in the agronomy services business also and I work with my family who row crop farm. I agree with this 100%. I learn so much about farm management by watching how my clients run their businesses.

@gwiesefarms A government issued letter? I know from social media and word of mouth I need to do it but haven’t heard a peep of official correspondence

Timeliness is everything in peanuts. Hoping one of my farmers reaps the benefits of that here. #GrowWithInsight

@MPlumblee I have a K with an older Almaco system with air delivery for the grain elevator and it has a really hard time in moisture.
