What a crazy idea! “Diabetes is treatable with food and exercise, and so is obesity,” Kennedy declared. This seems like common sense, but you can imagine the pushback such a proposal would get. Why? Because the medical industries that are supposed to make us healthier “actually make more money if we get sicker.”

Make this make sense?! Surely if you want to extend opportunity to move shildren you should encourage private schools to maintain and extend their bursary programme to those unable to afford it?
For too long children have been held back, not because of a lack of talent, but a lack of opportunity. I’m determined to change that. That starts with ending the tax break enjoyed by private schools so we can put more money into our state schools.
