I haven’t shared this much publicly, but our church has been in the process of a merger for the past few months. Tomorrow, their church votes on merging into ours. This would give us a building free and clear as well as a few families from their membership. Would you pray? ❤️👊.

I think some credit needs to go to Marvin Bagley, Jr. for how he has handled his son’s career. Ppl questioned him moving him around in HS, ppl questioned having him skip his senior yr, but MB35 being on the All-Academic team answers those questions. Well done, @TeamBagley.

With COVID and my lack of boldness, I hadn’t personally seen anyone come to faith in Christ in quite a while. God allowed me to witness a young lady who came to our church Sunday believe on Jesus tonight! Praise the Lord! He is a wonderful, merciful Savior.

I wouldn’t post this on FB because he’d see it, but my dad has really struggled cognitively since his stroke back in November. He has good days, and then some really bad days. He’s at a neuro-cognitive exam right now. Would you say a prayer for him and my mom? Much appreciated.

I am deeply grieved by this #WakeUpOlive story coming out of Bethel Church. I haven’t completely wrapped my head around the theological and emotional implications of it. But I know that it is one of the saddest stories I’ve heard recently.

Last year for Easter, I preached to a camera in a spare bedroom. This year for Easter, we had the second highest attendance in our church’s history. even with COVID keeping some away. To God be the glory. He is building His church.

Thank you to those who have been praying. The church we are merging with voted unanimously to pursue the merger with our church. We give God glory! Our church will vote on Oct 4, and then the complete merger will take place on January 1. Continue to pray!.

No matter how @DukeMBB fares in the tournament, I have nothing but positive things to say about this team. Jon has done an incredible job being patient and making proper adjustments throughout the season. Players have matured and stepped into more clearly-defined roles.

A friend of mine is a strong believer and a pro sports agent. He was telling me of these off-season spiritual renewal retreats that some professional athletes attend. Within the past year or so, Baker Mayfield and his wife attended one, and Baker gave his life to Christ.

Our church gathering space was displaced this morning due to circumstances beyond our control. But the Church is alive and well. We’ll be meeting in houses all throughout the Triangle area. Church is people, not a place.

God saved Amanda today! We had been praying for her since January of 2019, when her teenage son took his own life. We met her at the funeral home. She’s now a consistent attender at our church, and today has been saved by grace through faith. Rejoice with us!.

Would you pray for the little guy in these pics? His name is Harrison Kennedy, @tbkennedy22’s two-year old son. They found out yesterday that he has leukemia, and he’s in surgery now having his port installed & his first treatment. Talk about an unexpected Christmas. Please pray.

People can (and I have) criticized guys like Judah Smith, Carl Lentz, Rich Wilkerson, etc. but these men have had a profound influence in the #1 streamed musician in the world coming to faith in Christ. For that, I REJOICE and so should every Christian.
