I've seen some messages about players now being professional. Think people forget we as players have partners who go to work, children that go to schools, food shop anywhere it could be picked up. People need to realise that no one is to blame and it can be picked up anywhere

Some effort by the both sets of players, especially the ones who have backed up from Thursday. No proper recovery in place, as can't use ice baths, swimming pools etc. More respect is needed for Rl players, who are all doing what they can to keep the game alive without moaning

What an absolute shambles.. As a young player there was nothing better than playing a curtain raiser before the 1st team infront of fans, kept young kids interested. EVERY Superleague club should have an academy structure, they're the future of the game 🤦♂️

Still can't get my head around yesterday's news regarding the academys. RL is going backwards, when every other sport is moving forward. As a southerner who didn't play rugby league until I was 15 I was fortunate to benefit from learning most of my Rl in the academy system.
