Strongly agree. People are anchored to the norm of giving majority of street space to parked cars. Change that, give more street space to pedestrians, bikes, and scooters, you have city of the future.
Re: Scooters. I understand why some folks are annoyed, but assume streets & spaces were designed to absorb them — I bet 100x more folks would use them & many haters would convert.
