10 years of progress, and building onchain apps is still a nightmare. Why? Why do developers still need to duct-tape protocols together to build basic apps? This is why we're building Irys. Irys is the first programmable datachain. A datachain is a blockchain designed with economic incentives to ensure data is stored reliably. First-generation datachains like Filecoin and Arweave let you store data—but that’s about it. A programmable datachain goes further: it stores data and enables smart contracts to natively interact with it, unlocking new ways to integrate data across ecosystems. How does Irys work? Right now, developers patch together protocols for storage, DA, and execution. Irys replaces the mess with fully unified stack. ▶️ The storage layer lets you store unlimited data onchain—at 1000x lower cost compared to traditional solutions. ▶️ The DA layer makes your data actionable, enabling applications to access and use it when needed. This means that stored data is no longer static, unreadable information—it becomes a functional part of your applications. ▶️ The execution layer enables you to deploy smart contracts that interact with your data. This means your onchain activity and the data you’ve stored can all be used within your smart contracts, resulting in richer, more personalized interactions. What does this unlock? With Irys’s unified stack, data flows freely across ecosystems, empowering developers to build smarter, adaptive applications. This integration delivers a faster, dramatically more affordable building experience—keeping the entire stack fully onchain and enabling data to power applications in entirely new ways. Building onchain has never been easier––DM me for project ideas!

@TarunMangukiya @0xQuit After working in the datachain space for 4 years, I literally cannot tell you how to use Filecoin

Gud summary ser. My summary: -> cheapest and fastest datachain -> enables storing data for any period of time -> integrates VM so we can create awesome apps on top and also manipulate data in smart contracts I also love that we can work with apps on any chain. We need an ecosystem of native apps long-term but we will also be used by 100s of apps outside of our ecosystem (we already have 10s of apps using Irys)

I’ll be moderating a panel in Hong Kong on agent economies!
An AI-powered economy needs to perfect 3 things: compute, automation, & on-chain intelligence. ☝️ That's our 2nd panel at AI Agent Day @consensus_hk with @josh_benaron, @konyk001, @BitBenderBrink, @mehtaandmore, & @VicHODL. Grab your spot → 🙌

@dasentyy Haha. That’s a different onchain data Imagine you could store 1TB of data in a smart contract for the same cost you could store data on the web today That’s what Irys enables

@k0k1mania Top of mind: -> agents: verifiable agents are enabled by verifiable data -> data/ip marketplace: a permissionless marketplace can only exist on verifiable data do a buyer can trust what they’re buying -> any social/consumer app

@MurillodiCappa I think so. Especially with agents, verifiable data solve the problem of making agents verifiable

@Web3_Corey @ayyyeandy Say that to the people who have lost millions to hacks. Tether helps those people. Circle doesn't.
