No they mean the camerawork, choreography and direction convincingly recreate the conventions of anime fight scenes in live action. Persona is not an ‘anime irl.’ Neither is Chinatown. Or Battleship Potemkin. Don’t be obtuse.

TLOU2 has a whole sequence where time is rolled back and you meet the people you previously slaughtered, learning their names, and having to confront the fact that they were humans, with real lives - that you took. The game has flaws but this is the dumbest argument against it.
@flamingbofa @kenshirotism I mean the whole message of the game is "break the cycle of hate" meanwhile the player slaughters through countless nameless nobodies lmao.
