@ZacThriff
That reminds me of a friend who was drunk and told us gays her bf curves to the left. We were like oh wow ok. but me singing "to the left. to the left..."

@Ky71Matt
It started with this pandemic around the world, then fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, murder hornets, political turmoil, aliens, conspiracy theorists and that's only 2020. 😂
53 it is today July 5th, 2023! I will be having my Grand Slam birthday breakfast meal at Denny's and a Starbucks coffee treat later. Gotta get those birthday treats!
@AutisticCoach_
I realize that the doctors who diagnosed me as Bi-Polar weren't seeing the AuDHD and mistaking the crash and burn as "depression" when I was, well crashing and burning.
@AmberlynWhite
When I posted on FB my diagnosis, only a couple people had questions, one was a psychologist. He admitted that there is a lot for him to learn as more people are being diagnosed as ND and that was an honest assessment. The other friend thought it only happened in children.
@ashleyann_atx
I do not like when people come unannounced. I do not like when there is a change of plans with no warning. I do not like crowds or too many people talking at once. We are not being a problem child but coping with our environment.
June 1995, I was announced as Mr. Gay Pride 1995 for Hawaii. It was a fundraising contest, raising money for people living with AIDS and went to their expenses, services, etc. I took advantage of my nightly nightclub and bar scouting and was able to get donations to help out.
@AmberlynWhite
"You're not like the other kids"
"You're just shy. Go mingle with the other kids."
" Just have more confidence in yourself."
"It's a yes or no answer. I don't need a testimony."
"My life doesn't revolve around (said interest)"
"Make friends with real people not animals"
@misterfilmstock
Jonathan Brandis. Men's mental health is a huge factor in a lot of these deaths and not having the resources and/or support because of traditional beliefs that men have to "deal with it."
@Autistic_Lia
"Autism is only in children. It's hard to test adults.", "But you speak good English", "I love Sheldon! He's so funny like you.", " Oh do you know so and so, she is Autistical like you", "So you're like Rainman, wow you'd be perfect for Jeopardy" ugh hate these!
Irony: This fall semester I am trying to get into the Ancient Greece history course (Minoan-Mycenaean) and it was when I picked up these pics for publication is when I chose to go on my filmmaking journey in 2017!
@SouthernGh
Sadly this reminds me of the late Nethanial Marsden who had issues with mental health and substance abuse. But as a 19-year recovery, never lose hope. The worse today can completely change tomorrow.
@autismsupsoc
NONE of my therapists except one psychiatrist even suspected AuDHD. I was Bi-polar, BPD, just need to get out of my comfort zone, stop being cynical, anything but AuDHD and EFS challenges but NO Autism because that is only for kids.
oops! A dear friend reminded me it was the 22nd and not the 24th because it was a Sunday night when stopped drinking and I remember being at the hotel room, cleaning up after my friends went out, didn't want to drink or go out, but felt it was time this sober journey.
#sobriety
So, a fellow film student talked about seeing Basic Instinct for the first time and I had to share my clubkid 90s days with his and his cronies lol. Ahh the memories.
1991-92 I discovered my first gay bar in Waikiki. LOTS of fun memories, made tons of friends here, met Bronski Beat, accidentally bumped into Christina Applegate, and well definitely stayed until the very last day.
@AmberlynWhite
"Stop daydreaming!"
"It's not that cold/hot "
"Just tough it out."
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Others have it worse than you "
"Back in my day..."
In 2017, I had my artwork published at a campus magazine. This was my tribute to the Minoan/Geometric part of Ancient Greece and the 2024 Athens Games opening ceremony.
