There is a serious danger in how the Holy Spirit is often misunderstood. Too often, He is reduced to a mere “resource” to be accessed rather than honored as the living God who convicts, sanctifies, and glorifies Christ. This mindset depersonalizes the Spirit, treating Him as a force or energy rather than the divine Person who calls us into relationship. And this is no small matter—when we lose sight of the Spirit’s Personhood, we distort the very nature of the Trinity, undermining the unity and fullness of God Himself.
