@Andrew_Akbashev even in concentrated acids, hafnia is stable. But to be sure, we are currently looking into biodegradability. Regarding toxicity, so far, every cell assay has come back positive (no cell death).

Our latest: zirconium oxo clusters with fatty acid ligands. Superior to ZrO2 nanocrystals as catalyst, difficult to characterize but X-ray PDF provided the solution. @DeRooLab
