Immunocompromised people: Any chance we could mask like, at least in healthcare settings. Liberals who don't mask: HOW DARE YOU REMIND ME I CONSIDER CERTAIN PEOPLE DISPOSABLE!!! IT MAKES IT HARDER FOR ME TO TELL MYSELF I'M A GOOD PERSON!!! THIS IS A BAD TACTIC! YOU'RE DERANGED!!.

Since the late 1970s we've lost over 800,000 Americans to AIDS. in the past 4.5 years we've lost around 1.2 million Americans to COVID. We think of the former as a horribly mismanaged crisis that devalued the lives of people at risk. but we're nailing it with the latter?.

This is what mask bans do:.- they stigmatize people who have to wear them.- they make others feel more entitled to demand people take their masks off. - they give the impression that masking is so unnecessary, you're up to no good or need to be "educated" if you're wearing one.

@CovidCanada1 I have never felt so violated and discriminated in my whole life. The crowd wouldn't stop jeering at disabled and immunocompromised people and advocates. What I saw was deep hatred towards people who wear masks indiscriminately. I was in a different country. This is not America.

mask ban advocates keep citing how bad harassment is and how the ban is needed to curtail it - WHILE they are aggressively harassing people who have to mask. This Nassau County Legislators meeting is going great #NoNYMaskBan.

Being able bodied & focusing on "new normal" doesn't mean we aren't being encouraged to kill off people who are high risk. genocide style.

a lifelong LI resident points out that she was trying to deescalate an altercation without a mask on and was removed earlier - she notes it's terrifying to imagine what would have happened if she was masked during this.

also why post such wild shit and then block anyone who wants to engage in the discourse that you started so aggressively. You just needed to announce you are an asshole and then bounce?.

the fact that y'all are so triggered and defensive about this just confirms I'm right. Do you harass people with schizophrenia for being ill? Do you mock mormons for their strong beliefs? If you didn't care about these "morons in masks" you wouldn't be tantruming in replies.
