Largely it is not 1 million jobs disappearing, but 1 million less new jobs appearing. The UK lost over £114bn in investemnt due to Brexit, which would have created tons of jobs.. But this is only one aspect

I will try to explain again. Most reports do not quote any specific figure for ‘jobs lost’, because this is not a widely used metric. However, most reports do agree that the UK lost about 3-5% of GDP or £100-150bn. Let’s assume at least 3% for this argument only.
