@WalleyRay Depends on how the question is asked. If you say what drugs did you first do you count alcohol, tobacco or caffeine as drugs. Some people choose some drugs some choose others, one does not lead to the next.

@CianOConcubhair @AontuIE It makes because both are making a moral judgement. Drugs are "bad" so nobody should take them so make it illegal. Ignores the reality than people have always and always will take drugs of all types.

@CianOConcubhair What doesn't make sense is there seems to be very little public outcry to maintain the status quo.

@SeeryKearney @davidstantontd Are you able to explain the FG policy on drugs? Harris and Mcentree are saying that Gardai don't recommend a change. This wasn't the AGS position at the committee. What was the point of the CA and the committee? We could have just asked AGS behind closed doors

@Jon_S_Desoto_MS @BillKristol Presumably the point of recess appointments was to get approval for nominees when the Senate is not in session. Not to get through nominees who would otherwise not be approved.

@WalleyRay Cannabis has all ready been normalized. It use is widespread, increasing and it is available instantly for anyone who wants it.

@fiannafailparty @votemaryfitz This is not in line with the Committee recommendations. In sounds like a slight modification to the current approach. And almost every expert told the committee the currency doesn't and won't work. Prohibition does more harm than the drugs themselves
