All without leaving Wales! So that rules out all of our train network! Buses it is! It’ll take me 14 hours so follow along here! 😁🚍🏴

After one of the most scenic bus journeys I’ve ever been on I’m within touching distance of my final destination. I’ve got the best part of 2 hours in Bangor now, I’ve got some menial tasks to do now like checking into my hotel and having some dinner so I’ll be back later!

Just into Brecon. Some fella on the bus just went to the driver and asked where he should get off for the national park. The driver very unsympathetically answered “um remember when everyone got off the bus mate, then” 😂😂

For those interested here’s a price breakdown of today:
Train Rhoose to Cardiff £3.55 (£5.40 without railcard)
Bus Cardiff to Bangor (should’ve been £13, was actually £17 because of driver cock up)
Bus Bangor to Cemaes £4.80
Total - £25.35 (£21.35 if you get the right tickets)

I WENT TO THE TOKYO DAWN ROBOT CAFE!
This cafe is not run by AI, the robots are actually avatars for people with diseases and illnesses such as ALS to connect with people while they’re stuck bedridden! It’s a fantastic concept, add to your itineraries!

Spent sunset last night down on the Santa Monica Pier and it was incredible. Stunning view of the sun going down over the Pacific Ocean, the pier itself was great fun too!

Soon I’ll be travelling the entire length of Wales using only buses 🚌🏴 If you know the state of public transport in Wales you’ll know this is going to be much more of a challenge than it sounds! 😅 Excited to start making the content soon! 😁

Well that was a nice treat. What was scheduled to be an 11.5 hour flight ended up being less than 10! 😁 The highlight of the flight was the hour passing over Greenland 🇬🇱 I’ll tell you what it’s jumped up my list now just from seeing it from above!

Here we go. Leg 2. This will take me up to Newtown (with extended stops in Merthyr and Llandod). Not going to be the comfy ride for the best part of 4 hours, especially no toilet facilities

You need to head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Govt Building near Shinjuku station they have a COMPLETELY FREE observation deck!!

Update about my ticket. The driver on the T4 has sold me the wrong one, so it’s not valid on non stagecoach run services. This driver has let on for free though, so I might have to get a ticket from Mach to Bangor when I shouldn’t have to

This is the T12 bus that runs from Welshpool to Machynlleth. Perfectly comfortable for an hour. Only other passengers are retirees on a shopping day

I WENT TO A MINI PIG CAFE IN TOKYO 🐖🇯🇵
They were literally the cutest thing ever! 🥺 They loved cuddling, I actually had 6 on me at one point 😂 They even wagged their tails when they were happy like dogs do!
It was ¥2,750 for half an hour in there. Worth every single yen!!

One of the iconic symbols of Tokyo, offering stunning views over the whole mega city from its observation decks (or not if you didn’t bother going up like me)
It was the Japan’s tallest building too until new Tokyo Skytree absolutely dwarfed it in 2012

This Shinto shrine surrounded by forest was the most relaxing tonic from the mayhem in the centre of Tokyo. Only a 10 minute walk from the bustling Harajuku district!
This simply HAS to be on any Tokyo travel itinerary!!

I’ll tell you what Zip is really winning me over on this flight. Felt a bit snacky so I’ve ordered a Coke, a water and some Pringles to my seat on their in flight service app and it’s cost less than £4! Delivered within 2/3 minutes too! Absolutely excellent service

This artificial landscape gives an incredible insight into the mystery and beauty of the Cloud Forest rainforests. I can honestly say the hour I spent wandering around through here was the most at peace I’ve felt in a long time

An icon of the city. Probably Marrakech’s most famous monument, the mosque from the 12th C is visible from the whole city centre. Non Muslim visitors aren’t allowed inside Mosques in Morocco so no interior pictures sadly

No car. I can’t drive so that would be dangerous 😂 Public transport here is perfectly fine, have used it for everything so far. Getting an Uber to the airport this morning though just for convenience

There’s a tower that looks like the most northern point (the official one is on an island) but the tower is an hour and a half round trip from the town so I’m giving that a miss. I’ll be counting the town itself as victory 😂
