Campaign donors are rightfully upset when they are added to another campaign's fundraising list without permission.

Our friends on the left claim they are so much better at email and they follow “best practice.” Reality is, they follow some of the worst practices in email marketing, like swapping lists, but still are in inboxes. The sad part is they believe their rhetoric.
In 2017, I signed up with a unique email address on Sherrod Brown’s campaign website. 1 email address that has only signed up in 1 place. Here are 75 Democratic orgs which have launched 33,875 non opted in messages into my inbox.
