We are so proud to share our #1 ranking from @ForeignPolicy+@global_wm! Our master's programs are #1 across all of the constituencies surveyed — IR scholars, policymakers+think tank staff. Our undergrad is ranked #1 by policymakers+think tank staff, and #3 by IR scholars.

I’m so proud that @georgetownsfs and @Georgetown were able to bring these incredible 14 Ukrainian students to our campus on full scholarship courtesy of the Gracias family. They give so much to our community & offer hope for Ukraine’s future.

At our @georgetownsfs commencement last year, we honored those brave souls who sacrifice their own freedom to secure our freedom. @Dasha_Navalnaya spoke movingly of her father’s struggle. Today we mourn the death of @navalny & call for justice in his memory.
Last night we welcomed three speakers to offer reflections: Debra Tice, mother of political prisoner Austin Tice (@GUAlumni’02, L’13); Dasha Navalnaya, the daughter of political prisoner Alexei Navalnay; and Evan Mawarire, a former political prisoner himself.

In the history of the Marshall program, the only schools to have 4 or more Marshall Scholars in a single year are Harvard, Yale, Stanford and MIT. @georgetownsfs joins that rank this year with these four outstanding students. We are so proud of them!
Adrian Ali-Caccamo (SFS’24), Hari Choudhari (SFS’24), Anya Wahal (SFS’23) and Michael Lundgren (SFS’22) will pursue their graduate education at any university in the United Kingdom through the Marshall Scholarship.

Some comments from the Exec Director of @CSETGeorgetown @DeweyAM on the somewhat unanticipated interest in CSET's work. We stand by their freedom to contribute to the important debates about the future of AI.
I’m glad to see this important paper get renewed attention. CSET is an evidence-driven research organization. Our primary goal is to publish unbiased, non-partisan research for policy-makers and the public. This mission hasn't always sat well with everyone. (1/3)

It was a full house to hear President Jokowi of Indonesia @IndonesiainDC speak @georgetownsfs. The world's 3rd largest democracy & largest Muslim-majority nation, Indonesia is a key player in critical global issues whose voice needs to be heard.
Today, Georgetown University and @GeorgetownSFS welcomed Joko Widodo, the president of Indonesia (@IndonesiainDC), to Gaston Hall. President Widodo spoke on a comprehensive strategic partnership with Indonesia and the United States.
