@CurlyData @his_eminence_j @WallStreetApes Many migrants do come on temporary visas, but with the political winds always changing on this subject these people are often in limbo and farmers don’t have a dependable labor pool. That’s why they need to either offer better wages to attract citizens or mechanize (or both).

It’s tough work bending over harvesting crops. It’s tough for Americans not used to that labor and not worth it when you can work at Home Depot for that money. Migrant laborers are good at it. Most I assume grew up in rural areas and have the skills. I don’t know if pathway to citizenship is the answer. Making temporary work visas easier to get is better imo. I have a small farm I run part time, and I would personally like to see more Americans get into farming.

I traded in my model Y for a Ford lightning flash and it does not even come with auto wipers. My parents have a Kia telluride that also doesn’t have auto wipers. Some manufacturers don’t include them to keep costs down. The upside of Tesla using vision for auto wipers means even the lowest trim cars have the feature.
