Moving to a beautiful town with an unconventional school seemed great until another new student told X about a murder. Now X needs to investigate why the town is covering up murders and other oddities. Did she move from a bad situation to worse one? #WritingCommunity

I just thought of a reason people might not be going to theaters. No subtitles. Poor sound mixing geared supposedly towards theater has led everyone to use subtitles. No one trusts they'll be able to hear while in a theater without being blown out by the music. No one goes.

There seem to be 2 types of writers: Those who write 500,000 words and are trying to get it down to 150,000. Those who write 40,000 words and try to expand to 70,000. There might be a middle ground, but these are the two I see. #WritingCommunity #amwriting #amediting

Today, in a grocery store, I felt like I stepped back in time. Across the aisle stood a woman in this simple, beautiful dress. I realized she was just some mom doing her regular shopping. I started to wonder how much nicer things would be if we all dressed up a little bit more.

A little editing hack I'm trying. I change everything to red and read line by line. If I'm satisfied I change the line to black. If I have any doubt I leave it red and move on. I don't change the color until I'm 100% satisfied with it. If it sounds off. If it's telling. Boring
