Proud of our 8th grade B team basketball boys! They won the district championship today going 3-0 at the tournament as the #5 seed. Can’t ever count out these Bears! #LEAD #OneHeartbeat

We came up short tonight to a really good Kilgore team. So proud of our boys and the fight they showed all season long. Our playoff run as the ultimate underdogs was an exhilarating ride. We made history this season. The only La Vernia team to ever reach the state semifinals.

So freakin’ proud of our kids! Last night, two 8th grade football teams that had never lost a junior high football game squared off in a battle for the ages. We never quit and hit a game-winning field goal as time expired! Bears 19, Lions 18. God is good, y’all! #LEAD
