This is why I hate when yโall minimize talks about colorism to desirability in the dating world as if a large portion of society doesnโt surround the amount of respect they give someone on how โattractiveโ they look.
I just read a story of a woman who was talking about the concept of ugly & beautiful for women. She said she grew up w/ it being made very clear she was ugly. She said as a grown woman, people threw garbage at her or moved away from her. Just her presence made them hateful to her.

During times of war in Sudan, girls had to take old/worn t-shirts and cut them to create make-shift pads. Theyโd often take a singular t-shirt to evenly split into pads for all of the girls in the family.
Girls and women in war zones going through periods are the strongest people ever. You cannot convince me otherwise.

Crazy how @zukosmadre has wholly ignored the numerous North East Africans telling her that Gadaffi WAS NOT a good person, and is beginning to retweet blatant lies about the Janjaweed and Gadaffi. Propaganda is still propaganda. She's feeding you guys bullshit to fuel her ego.

@zukosmadre The matters of his death don't negate the cruel actions enacted under him while he was alive!! Just because you both share similar sentiments about America doesn't make him a good man. Gadaffi was nothing more than an evil, deluded man when he was alive. BLOOD IS ON HIS HANDS TOO.
@soothsayher The Janjaweed used to enter my village and massacre my people on Gaddafiโs dime in the name of Anti-Black sentiments. The SAF and RSF, the two militias that are currently tearing through Sudan are both two factions of the janjaweed.

Sysbm and divestor content are definitely two idiotic ideologies that mimic each other in more ways than one, but the blanket of misogynoir that comes with pro-black male content is a lot more harmful to Black women than divestor content is to Black men.
I think itโs really funny how black twitter goes back and forth by trying to make the opposing gender jealous by saying how nice it is to date white ppl.

Nah I'm actually so tired. I'm exhausted from trying to combat anti-Blackness. No matter how much I try to fight it off it's not going away so I don't see the point anymore. The way @zukosmama handled the situation changed my activism forever. Y'all genuinely hate Black ppl.

@soothsayher Enlighten me on how saying Gaddafi bad perfectly aligns with US foreign policy???? Lmfaooooo.Youโre the only one who keeps bringing up the US in this conversation. I would feel this way about Gaddafi regardless of what transpired in Libya.

@zukosmadre @yasine_meryoul Yet you spent the past hour trying to humanize Gadaffi to me despite the only thing I brought up to you was the harm he brought to my community.
The claims of the part Gadaffi played in the genocide of my people was NOT Western Fabricaton. Gaddafi wasnโt liked in the region because of his own actions!.

Matter of fact @TurtleYusuf come to the front. You knew to clear your page up nice but everyone remembers how you used to call us โJanoobinโ as an insult and used to spread misinformation about SSD working with the RSF. One of the biggest creators on this wave was him.๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ.

@PeshAhumuza Too many ppl are okay with being blind to the existence of certain oppressions that donโt specifically pertain to their everyday lives. I fear pan-africanism & womenโs rights will never be able to effectively coincide with each other.

People thinking this is an accurate shade for Nilotic people is soo crazy. ๐ญ. I truly blame the fashion industry for this. The girl in the video reviewing this product is Nilotic and her skin color is literally the same as the people you think would match this foundation.๐ญ๐ญ.
These brands are SO comfortable in racism, Youthforia was already called out about their range but the founder thought it was funny and tried to be hilarious with coming out with a Black shade. I wish her the worst. If I said what I wanna say, Iโll get wiped clean from this app

@theBulmaster I was so shocked bc Ive never met her in my life before this. She was with her son who looked around the same age as my parents. I think she knew my parents when they were younger.

@Jasonterrysysbm The CEO of sysbm is in my mentions!? ๐งI'm confused as to why you linked this bc none of this applies to me. Lmfaoo. In no way shape or form am I trying to target BM with this post either?? It's a no-brainer that misogyny exists globally.

@thisisNOTghaida @zukosmadre She definitely saw it but has no idea what it means because she has never read anything about the geopolitics of this region for longer than 5 minutes in one sitting.

The way so many older African women have been deeply indoctrinated is so heartbreaking. In Junub weโre lucky our ancestors did good resisting stuff like this. You hear our elders talking about the preservation of our indigenous cultures/times before the Arabs came mostly.

All of these pathetic men in the replies ready to stir violence for innocent people because theyโre LGBTQ but have no smoke for the people directly taking from the mouths of their family and children. ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ. Lord I think we are ready for flood!.
Happy #PrideMonth to all LGBT+ South Sudanese๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ we celebrate LGBT+ people's contributions to medical science & healthcare while recognizing the inequalities the community faces in healthcare, especially in countries like South Sudan where your humanity/existence is criminalized

My parents became political refugees after Omar Al-Bashirโs government began threatening my fatherโs life for speaking out against what the Janjaweed/Khartoum government were doing to Black Sudanese people. My parents never wanted to come here.
@jjustaluvrr @zukosmadre @anaslearnsball I honestly lol'd at how ludicrous and predictably American you are.

@Wicked5D @chrishansen Hate to break it to you but the vast majority of pedophiles were also victims as children themselves. The fact that you think this way is genuinely concerning and I hope you're able to get the help you need.
