Sine we do not have any kind tracking built in, only when someone gives direct feed back, we get to know how successful the project is.
E-mails or tweets we get once in a while is what motivates in keep working on it.

Happy to see this. Kochi Metro might be the first one in India allowing fullsize bicycles on board.
Bengaluru allows, but only foldies and that too, the ones fits in their small scanning boxes.
Cycle around the city to your heart's content. Kochi Metro will allow commuters to carry their cycles with them on the Metro from tomorrow at six stations; Changampuzha Park, Palarivattom, Town Hall, Maharaja's College, Ernakulam South and Elamkulam.

According to policy, the developer needs to give a link to a privacy policy page. It is true, we don't have that.
But, this app doesn't even have internet permission!

From the whole exercise, what I learned is, if you are leaving a company of your own, you'll be given a generous sent off with dignity and wishes from co-workers.
If you are let go, even if it is not your mistake, all your access will be cut off within mins of the call.

It is not open source until we can see the server side code.
Client side code was always readable up to some extend. People scrutinized somewhat - found it collecting more data than it needs.
Where is the server side code that deletes data after 30days?
I don't know why they are creating an entire event to open source an app, but you can watch it here. I think the app will be on

Yesterday, I rejected an offer to to go through the interview process of a company. I applied there 5-6 years back and failed at interviews.

Just joined tiktok. Here is my observation.
Twitter is full of bots and tweet army. Facebook is full of family/old people. Instagram is full of celeb and influencers. Youtube is full of vloggers. Whatsapp is where all fakenews spread.

Look at the way Playstore shows the results, our keyboard is hidden way down and results are limited to 3. Another variant of Indic Keyboards is not even shown.
3. Big one: [Play Store] Search manipulation and bias by Google in favour of Google Pay. That even when users search for Pay on the Play Store, the first result is invariably Google Pay, and not Paytm or Phonepe.

Many companies hire from India, just because it is cheap labour.
It is very rare to find a company which values Indian employee as much as their SF counterpart. Companies may value you, but not ready to give monitory benefit based on that.
"Paying employees outside of big-tech cities high wages is bad because then those people have too much money" is a thing some people say on the internet 😄

I didn't know you can get doctor's consultation for ₹5 from govt hospitals and medicine, injection etc are free. For elder people it is ₹2.
Is the fee low in just Kerala, or allover India?

Surprisingly, this went viral.
I think I'll give more details about my experience and how I handled it.
When I made the original tweet on Feb 7, I wasn't aware that my company was planning a layoff. I made the tweet after seeing the trends on Twitter and layoff news from MNCs.

2023 was hard both on a personal and professional level. There were zero foss contributions as well.
On the positive side, I started motorcycle ride as stress relief and very much liked it. covering all metros of south India in 4 days was fun.
