I get what you are trying to convey. But here are some corner cases: 1. Though it should be the ideal case, all side projects/startups don’t generate revenue on day 1. 2. Most startups take more than 1 day from idea to launch. 3. Either the founder need to have a rich daddy or startup need to have VC as daddies. Being unemployed + $0 revenue startup doesn’t look like a better option.

Product is the key to freedom. Those who can’t build products, make content.

Just wild! A few years back I spent 6+ months and several thousand dollars to build the exact software that Replit can nowbuild in a prompt. This decade has been wild. We are not even in mid yet.

Software alone is not sustainable business anymore. In old days, you could just build a chat app sell it for billions. Since anyone can build a chat app with AI, software business space gonna become fiercely competitive. Software + hardware is the future, specially for indie hackers.
