I love when you buy a product from a company that hasn’t been delivered and you’ve never used. While they send two to three e-mails a day about sales, discounts, and other products to buy. Please stop until I at least gave it in hand. One a week would be enough or less.

Here’s a bowl of my chicken soup with lots of vegetables. There is celery, carrots, onion, fennel, corn, red, yellow, and orange bell peppers, Corona beans with coconut cream rice, spices (chili, curry, turmeric, garlic and onion powder, salt, fresh ground black pepper).

I published my "2024 Reading List with Lots of Books about Food" -

With all the snow last night and this morning my Amazon packages that were supposed to be delivered today are now being delivered tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. My stuff can wait.

We've gotten 6.35 inches of snow so far with another 4.25 inches coming in the next 12 hours. The DC Federal government is closed for those that go into the office and are not emergency employees. People that telework/work from home like myself still need to work.

I've never seen Wegmans out of potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, bananas, bell peppers, other veg, and bread. People getting back in town after being done for a week or two might be a reason, or about nine inches of snow tonight and tomorrow might explain it. :)

Late breakfast of a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with a slice each of American cheese, a fried egg over hard, and topped with a breakfast sausage patty.
