@radishesonmars i fear that the “turn capitalism up to 11” option is not in touch with thermodynamic reality. Humans used Earth’s store of easily accessible dense energy aka “the carbon pulse” and it’s not obvious that the waste from a total war approach to reverse that will not collapse civ.
