The U.S.A. can and must be a beacon for free speech. The 1st amendment is 1st for a reason: without "freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, [and] the right to petition the government for redress of grievances," democracy cannot function.

@WallStreetApes I've been screaming from the rooftops that VOTER ID IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO SECURE ELECTIONS. Non-citizens in California can legally get a REAL ID, then it is trivial to illegally register and illegally vote. Proof of citizenship is necessary.
