@UMNBookworm @SherlockUMN Tim, let’s find a time for me to swing by this summer so I can see the exhibit and have a HMASDC meet-up!

@wehedge Serving on my school board has been one of the great honors and challenges of my life. Educators make the best school board members -- nobody knows this world like you do! You'll be great.

Thanks to our friends at @EuroClio for welcoming us to the European history educator party! I learned so much (pretty sure I met educators from at least a dozen countries!) and cannot wait to continue building these transatlantic bridges. #HistoryMatters #belonging2024
Our staff travels all the time to do our work on the ground! Can you guess where our Executive Director Jessica traveled recently? Put your investigative skills to the test!

I am so proud of this work. Over the last year, our team (staff and board) has collaborated on a renewed mission, vision, and values to guide us for the next three years. As always, educators are at the center of everything we do and strive to be. #HistoryMatters
In recent years, history educators have faced an array of unprecedented challenges, from restrictive legislation to a growing distrust in the professionalism and autonomy of educators. Coupled with dwindling resources, a diminishing pool of preservice teachers, and an increasing focus on the shifting priorities towards ELA and STEM, history teachers have rarely been under such pressure. //🧵

I am so proud of this @historyed team. Teachers felt loved and supported as professionals at our conference, which is exactly what we hoped for. I also got to fangirl @HC_Richardson in person and rock out @rockhall. Just balm for my soul. #historymatters #teachersareprofessionals
