Official request/challenge for a DEBATE with @KristanHawkins on the question of whether or not abortion can be abolished without establishing equal justice for the pre-born. That is, which view ought to be adopted by all anti-abortion people? The abolitionist view, which holds that the act of abortion should be criminalized as murder, and that there should be criminal sanctions and punishments for anyone who commits that act of abortion and murders any human being (including humans in the womb) with malice aforethought, or, The pro-life view, which holds that no mother who murders her child should ever face any criminal punishment and that no law establishing equal justice for the pre-born should ever be passed if it leads to criminal sanctions and penalties for aborting mothers. I, @TRussHunter will argue for the abolitionist position, and Kristan Hawkins will argue for the pro-life position. This is an important debate and it needs to be carried out in good faith before God and man. Let’s set it up!

@jonharris1989 @BrandonShippy5 Also, although porn is damaging to both adults and children, I wouldn't put adults who willfully engage in porn in the same category as innocent children who are exploited by those in the porn industry.

Yes and Amen. However, I would add that the things we do should be done to the glory of God. If you "do things" without bringing the gospel of the Kingdom and the Law of God into conflict with the culture, the things you do will have no lasting effect.

@jonharris1989 @BrandonShippy5 Jon, the murder of humans is ALREADY against the Law. We are trying to get politicians to recognize the preborn are human. These partial bans continually instruct politicians that the preborn are NOT human. Laws are tutors and incrementalism is the largest hurdle to abolition.

@jonharris1989 These other unjust and discriminatory measures are usually offered up IN THE PLACE OF just legislation. Politicians will always take the easier, more compromised option, so we gotta stop offering them. If not, abortion will continue like it has for 50 years.
