@ErichLoftis btw. a long time a go I bothered you on github about denoising, have you had the time to look into it yet? Admittedly I haven't, this is the first time I'm taking stab at anything PT since then. I'm thinking of making a tiny game demo with this

@ErichLoftis Yup, it's painted on a quad. I was using it to learn some math and learn how to figure out UVs in pathtracing. Next, I might try to give the sprite some "thickness" so that it's not flat like this but for example has 0.5 depth.

@seanmtracey Yeah, I've done that soon after I posted. I'm surprised how decently it still looked when I saved the physics at 5-10 fps. I think I'm down to ~1.1mb uncompressed and I can totally see shaving another 30% off of that
