@ErichLoftis Yup, it's painted on a quad. I was using it to learn some math and learn how to figure out UVs in pathtracing. Next, I might try to give the sprite some "thickness" so that it's not flat like this but for example has 0.5 depth.

I wanted to make a 'wall break' effect without the overhead of running Rapier, so I wrote a utility that records the position and rotation of each box at 30fps and writes it to an array, so that it can be replayed. #rapierjs #threejs #threlte #svelte

Write #threejs interfaces with familiar @tailwindcss synax with @sveltejs + @threlte . Making 3D UIs can be hard, verbose and very different from what developers are used to for web content. Exploring ways to make that easier. Below simple scene + code

@zeu_dev I set up a project yesterday, I believe it was on svelte next.193. I think astro recently pushed update for svelte but maybe only the newest one works? I can send u a repo in a few hours if you still need but I didn't have any issues

@seanmtracey Yeah, I've done that soon after I posted. I'm surprised how decently it still looked when I saved the physics at 5-10 fps. I think I'm down to ~1.1mb uncompressed and I can totally see shaving another 30% off of that
