Today is #WorldCancerDay and we are very grateful to our Trustee @carole_brunton for sharing her inspirational breast cancer journey. Carole, who lives on a family farm in Fife, urges women to make sure they prioritise their health & well-being (no matter how busy things are on the farm), act quickly if they find any signs of breast cancer and ensure they attend mammogram appointments. She is hugely grateful to the @NHSscotland health professionals and to the friends and family who supported her at the time of her treatment and surgery. This May 2024 decision prevents the installation of solar panels on prime agricultural land. The rules do not restrict the establishment of solar on non-productive agricultural land or on agrivoltaic projects - dual use of land for solar energy production and livestock or crops
Well done Italy. They have banned ground mounted solar panels on farmland. They have always understood the importance and significance of their fresh food supply. 🇮🇹
