Incredibly relieved to see this!! Still not sure how the funding could be questioned given the congressional authorization, and I hope there’s a push to ensure this funding remains in place.

@KelseyTuoc Thank you for drawing attention to this. I am aghast that it is being essentially ignored by most elected officials and members of the media. There are millions of lives at stake. I also don't understand why there has been no litigation over this yet?

I don't understand why more politicians are not talking about this. I understand that foreign aid is not popular, but this specific BIPARTISAN program is saving millions of lives -- including children! Halting the drugs can lead to drug resistance. It's just horrifying.
Of all the things so far, the shutting down of PREP worldwide today (PEPFAR) could be the most catastrophic. It ends access to life-saving HIV prevention drugs to millions across the Global South, halting a program that’s saved 25 million lives.
