So lovely that @BBCSingers final concert of 2024 in the middle of our centenary season was in St Stephen’s, Ambridge. Thanks so much for hosting us, and for the warm hospitality in The Bull afterwards. Happy Christmas everyone, especially the wonderful team at @BBCTheArchers.

Great to hear @Ashleyjgrote with @BBCSingers, in what was to be the final occasion Stephen conducted a choir. Luckily the final take was recorded visually, as the sound dissipated in the incredible acoustic of King’s. Everyone at @BBCSingers was proud of our association with SJC.
5 years ago today, conductor Stephen Cleobury died. Stephen served as music director of @ChoirOfKingsCam from 1982 - 2019, and was chief conductor of the @BBCSingers from 1995 - 2007. We mark the anniversary of the passing of a legendary figure in choral music on this afternoon’s Classical Live.
