@LilNasX
because i am bottom, i am expected to aspire to riding the d. i’m expected to make my life choices, always keeping in mind that my knees are the most important.
@LilNasX
now riding the d can be a source of joy and love and mutual support.. but why do we teach bottoms to ride it but we don’t teach tops the same?
@ShadesOfElias
so you’re in the ocean getting attacked by your two cousins so you fire a warning shot (of water). takes out their jetskis. nice! they then yeet you into the OCEAN so you make a water-cyclone and gain the higher ground! seems like waterbending’s probably the move- *FIRE BLAST*
@challxn
most of my colleagues wear contact lenses ~ it’s just easier for me to roll out of bed and put on my glasses so i typically don’t wear my contacts unless i’m working out
@everlikeme
you know what, Bey was absolutely right when she said there are “so many internet therapists, comment critiques, and experts with no expertise”
like, SHUT UPPPPP
@LilNasX
we raise bottoms to see each other as competitors not for jobs or accomplishments, which i think can be a good thing, but for the attention of tops.
@ShadesOfElias
one thing LoK pretty much nailed was in korra’s character arc how her bending maturing as her personality did ~ by the end of book 4, we see her getting wayyyy more creative with how she applies her bending while also staying aggressive. made it feel more realistic 🤌🏿
@MooringHannah
@tbhnasa
Based on the behaviour they continue to exhibit, it’s pretty clear they haven’t really learned much...at all. Like, if you’re only sorry that you got caught acting a fool, you’re not really sorry.
@beyoncegarden
i know Bey was on her burner account, saw Dolly posted this, and her eye twitched a little cause that lady doesn’t play about keeping shit a secret 😂
@LilNasX
i’m drawing a blank on what the feminist equivalent would be to this.. but i believe in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.

@ShadesOfElias
waterbending is about the “push and pull” element of fighting and using an opponent’s force against them ~ the wisest element to use in this case, especially in this environment, would be water to see who pushes/pulls harder

genuinely, all of the above! mostly the pacing of the story and the characters. that has more to do with how the show was written. my main critique with LoK was that each book felt rushed and character development, aside from Korra herself, wasn’t as interesting
