There’s catchers who can throw but can’t receive or call a good game but can’t block or hit very well and are average catchers. Russ can catch, call a game, block, throw, and can hit. He will develop more power as he gets older.

You guys were legit all of those seasons and were fun to watch and play. I remember playing you guys in 2006 and y’all hadn’t lost in like 2 years. That game had 76 MLB scouts, cross checkers, scouting directors etc. Seven kids from that game got drafted. Amazing.

Things HS players should be doing this summer if they want to play in college:
1. Practicing baseball/games 4-6X week
2. Lifting weights 3-5X week
3. Updating recruiting videos and info and college requirements
4. Emphasizing proper nutrition
5. Getting 8+ hours of sleep a night

for the tips, really focusing on keeping everything long & towards the plate. Slider is working more like a curve but i’m currently working on having this as well as a sweeper by lowering my arm angle. Fast ball biting and change up looks v deceiving!
