As a reporter I can't advocate for policies. But IF I COULD, I think my first ask would be a requirement for ALL press contacts for officials to include their work phone numbers on their email sigs and/or press releases. It should not be hard to call people for info from electeds

Just got the annual email about trick or treating at the gov's mansion this year. It's a basketball theme. And it says "The Inslees are cheering for a SuperSonics Halloween" I urge everyone who goes to show up decked out in @seattlestorm gear. Better yet, bring Doppler.
