There are not any races in Nebraska that are more important this November than the State Board of Education, Board of Regents and local School Boards. It is time for all reasonable Nebraskans collectively back mainstream candidates who support public education and teachers.

20 win regular season. Mike Gabinet's 2nd in 3 years. Dean Blias only had one 20 win regular season in Omaha and Mike Kemp had two. This guy can coach. Great things are a head for Omaha no matter what happens in the playoffs.

Last night the other UNO Hockey team (UNOs club team made up of kids just playing for the love of the game) had a tragic injury to one of the players. Please send prayers and support.

is awake and has complete body mobility however, he remains in critical condition.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his UNO family tonight. We will provide further updates as soon as we have more information.

Quinnipiac just won their first D1 national title in any sport in Men's Ice Hockey. They upgraded to D1, 2 years after UNO started a D1 Hockey program and 12 years before UNO went D1 overall. I love all UNO sports but Q just showed us the recipe for a Natty in Omaha.

First time Omaha has hosted a playoff series since before my Dad passed away in 2016. The night of his funeral he made sure we beat ND. I'm expecting he'll do the same here, with a spirit of Tuesday night behind it: WE BELIEVE!

I had this discussion with the person next to me last night. Bad calls both directions, the bad calls against UNO had bigger impacts, that's somewhat luck, but the league should address the officiating standards if we want to continue to be seen as a top development league.

The worst Omaha can finish is 3-2 (unless Omaha and CU schedule a late game due to other rain outs). They've won the season series with NU and at worst will be tied with Creighton. Thus solidifying a repeat as the state D1 baseball champs.
