@nextlevelbb The more I could use the data to ask better questions about my scouting beliefs, & use my scouting beliefs to ask better questions of the data, the better EVALUATOR I became.

@ZackScottSports @ZackScottSports, I usually thought of it this way in bigger trades. If you mapped it out & 1 team would definitely do it or not do the trade it wasn’t a good deal. When both teams got to the “I’m not sure about this” point of doing the trade it was usually a fair deal.

@TDmeechigan You guys were/are tough at 40+ for 8 game power. Most I know or worked for had 35+. Interesting though.

@toddcrossfits @BLocsports The Quality Start was developed in 1985 by requiring a pitcher to pitch at least 6 innings while allowing no more than 3 earned runs. That equates to a 4.50 ERA. So 6 innings has been deemed a quality outing for 40 years now.

@OC____ @LA_Swiftness Roughly 5 guys per season hit 40+ going back to the early 80’s. Sometimes a few more, sometimes a couple less. But roughly 5. You get to the early 80’s it was usually 1 guy at 40 & then some at 39 on down. I always had 35 or more as 8 game power.

@TDmeechigan @BLocsports 60 HR would be 8 game power. Just like 41 HR would be 8 game power.
