@bonchieredstate Why are federal employees immune to layoffs that the public sector has to endure? Civil "servants" are the most privileged people in the country.

@SenJeffMerkley Then why did Biden issue an executive order forcing every school in the country to allow men in women's sports? Did you approve of that?

@webheraldnet @LilaGraceRose This is not censorship, it is just a change in direction. I could claim that the current situation is censorship of normal entertainment. You can still have your drag shows, just fund them on your own dime.

@EndWokeness Some states like Mississippi have more than 13% black. Is she claiming that those states should remove some to reach the national percentage? Also, her home state of Massachusetts only has 6.5%.

@dungface3 @ingelramdecoucy What does that have to do with anything? Does Lexis/Nexis also have a news department that covers the government that is paying them?

@MaxwellFrostFL Don't you know that government office buildings have security and don't just let anyone in? Or do you agree with the pardon of the January 6 protestors who were charged with trespassing in a government building?

@dungface3 @ingelramdecoucy This is the dumbest possible comparison. Lawyers/journalists are independent, not the government. Does Lexis/Nexis also have a news site reporting "independently" on the very people that are paying them money?

@Sargon_of_Akkad They make a great argument for killing all of USAID. I had no idea my American tax dollars were being funneled to BBC to create propaganda outlets across the world. Nothing says a free press like being funded by the government.

@DKThomp @TPCarney The government doesn't need to pay Politico to tell the government what the government is doing. Money sent to Politico can/should be used to pay their own staff to do anything that Politico is doing. The fact that they are instead choosing to funnel it to Politico is a subsidy.

@VivekGRamaswamy Shut down the U.S. Dept of Education & return $$ to the taxpayers. Education is already funded by my property taxes, I don't need my income taxes funding it too.

@takenomesspapa @BrentScher Politico Pro and are owned by the same company, and Politico Pro makes up a large part of Politico's revenue. It's almost certainly fraud.

@seashelljulia @BrentScher They give BS answers. It's clear that the government was just funneling money to Politico. There is no valid reason that the government needs to pay Politico $8 million to tell the government what the government is doing.
