Due to expected refreezing and cold temperatures, Johnson City Schools will be on a two-hour delay on Thursday, January 18, 2018. We will reevaluate road conditions in the morning and make a final decision.
UPDATE: Due to icy road conditions on the south end of town and ice in the Science Hill student parking lot, Johnson City Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
As we come to the close of an unprecedented school year, we thank our students for being learners in an environment not attempted before. We thank our employees who led the way over the past nine weeks caring for students academically, socially, mentally, and nutritionally.
Due to the possibility of icy conditions, Johnson City Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Early Educare will be closed, contact your educare Director for their schedule.

We will begin our child meal distribution program on Tuesday, March 24 as JCS returns from spring break. All 11 school sites will have drive-thru style service between 10:45 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. There will also be 18 mobile food distribution sites. Meals are free to anyone under 18.
