The best New Year's resolution I ever made was to start devouring all my nicest things, and save no small pleasure for an unspecified future. Now I burn the good candles, wear the expensive perfume at home, scribble imperfectly in pretty notebooks. You can't pin joy like a moth.

The Administration has created an exemption in USRAP for Afrikaners, which means it’s totally possible to do a blanket waiver for Enduring Welcome eligible Afghans, too. Any choice not to do that is not exactly that: a conscious choice to abandon our wartime allies.
President Trump signed an executive order which allows Afrikaners resettlement into the United States. That means they’re willing to do it for populations they care about. We know he cares about veterans feelings on Afghans, so let’s make it happen.
