My kid has been working his tail off to come back from a football injury that happened in November of 2021. Tonight he took the mound for only the 3rd time since then. Complete game win and 13K. I have rarely been so proud

My kid made 1st Team All-Brazos Valley. He did it with his bat but the real story of his Senior season is how he fought through injury to take the mound again and lead his team into the playoffs. I am incredibly proud of him.

Marcel Reed said after the game that playing in the Texas Bowl helped him acclimate to the speed of the college game. Many Aggies didn’t want to play that game. No head coach, no QB1, no QB2, walkons in the secondary, lower-tier bowl game. Glad those Aggies didn’t get their way.

Kid was dancing. It was funny at first then mildly irritating. Then about the 5th or 6th he took his shirt off and just went for it. NEVER STOPPED. Then it was a thing and most ppl were rooting for him. It was pretty incredible how he kept going. Energizer Bunny material.

I am not under the impression that firing assistant coaches fixes much but I cannot deny that our OL has been just awful the last two seasons. They can’t run block. Multiple busts on pass plays. Many snapping SNAFUs. Stepping on the QB. Just mistake after mistake after mistake.
