@stop_fossil_fue Air quality is bad in burn zone, not bad outside burn zone. But, lots of ash everywhere with non-zero probability of toxins. If that gets picked up by wind and deposited in a child's lungs, then not good.

NASA JPL asked me to represent them on behalf of ECOSTRESS to the press today at AGU. I taught reporters from The Washington Post, NPR, etc., how to download data from the ISS and make a heat map. At the end, one reporter exclaimed, “Is working with all of NASA’s data this easy?”
